Finding a home for your Labrador

Labrador Rescue currently re-homes over 400 Labradors each year. In the current financial climate and with future uncertainty resulting in financial hardship, relationship breakup and general changes in circumstances this number is unlikely to reduce.

If you find yourself in a situation where you need to find a new home for your labrador we are here to help.

All too often we see advertisements in papers for dogs 'free to good home' or for sale. Some may be a simple money-making exercise but many are people in desperate circumstances trying to do the best for their dog. Unfortunately, rehoming in this way cannot provide any guarantee of the life the dog will have.

Re-homing your dog with us will give you peace of mind that your much loved dog will not only be cared for to a high standard while he/she is with us but that every effort will be made to find and place him/her in a loving home that has been checked for suitability.

Taking the decision to re-home a dog can be extremely upsetting - something we understand and hopefully make a little easier by the care we put in to ensuring the best possible future for your much loved Labrador.
