What area does Labrador Rescue cover?

Labrador Rescue is based in Chorley, Lancashire and originally covered the Lancashire area.

Over the years, the number of supporters of the rescue and the introduction of our main website has meant that we are visited and contacted by people from all over the country.

We are happy to receive enquiries from anyone interested in the adoption of a Labrador regardless of location and have placed dogs sucessfully in loving homes from as far afield as Essex, the Isle of Lewis and Scotland.

We do however have to point out that even if you sucessfully pass vet references, interviews etc the final test is your interaction with the dog you have come to see. As much as every effort will have been taken to match you with the right dog it is impossible to assess this interaction until you meet. Even at this point in the process if the meeting is not sucessful the adoption will not proceed. We will however try to arrange a visit when a number of suitable dogs are available to try to ensure your journey is not wasted.

You should also consider the cost of travel, the liklihood of an overnight stay and the difficulty in returning the dog to us should it not settle in your home.
